Antonio Angelucci, LLM, MA and PhD in Philosophy of Law, is Associate Professor at the University of Insubria (Como and Varese, Italy) and teaches Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist Law at the University of Italian Switzerland – USI (Lugano, Switzerland). Qualified as Full Professor, he is a member of the University Quality Assurance Board of the University of Insubria, where he lectures on Canon and Comparative Law of Religions, Law and Religion, Religions and Rights in Multicultural Societies, Religious Tourism in its legal, economic and anthropological dimensions, Religious Rights and Community and Family Mediation, as well as Religion, Human Rights and the UN 2030 Agenda.
He has been Visiting Professor at the University of Alcalá (UAH), the University of Coimbra, and at Trends Research and Advisory in Abu Dhabi, of which he is an external collaborator.
He is also the Director of the Master’s Degree Program for Intercultural Community Educators and a member of the Scientific Council of the Research Center for Religions, Law, and Economics in the Mediterranean Area (REDESM) at the University of Insubria, of the Interuniversity Research Center International Forum on Democracy and Religions (FIDR), and of the Master’s program Formatori Interculturali di Lingua Italiana per Stranieri (FILIS). He is part of the Doctoral College in Law and Human Sciences at the same university and of the National Doctorate (DIN) in Peace Studies at Sapienza University of Rome. He also serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals.
