Jinene Limam holds a PhD in Public Law and is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Legal, Political, and Social Sciences, University of Carthage (Tunisia). She is a member of the Research Center on International Law and Maghreb–EU Relations (University of Carthage) and of the Scientific Council of the International Research Centre REDESM (University of Insubria). Her research focuses on political systems, secularization processes, gender and human rights.

Alongside her academic activities, she serves as an independent international expert for several international organizations in Tunisia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Her work focuses on supporting institutional and political reform processes, evaluating public policies, and conducting audits grounded in democratic governance and a human-rights-based approach, with particular attention to advancing gender equality and citizenship.
