Ahmed Elbasyouny is a PhD Fellow at the Center for Constitutional Democracy at Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a Junior Fellow at Humboldt University of Berlin’s Faculty of Law. At Indiana, he researches militant democracy and Arab constitutionalism and serves as an Associate Instructor at the Hamilton Lugar School. He has previously worked, interned, or consulted for UNDP, International IDEA’s Constitution-Building Programme, and the Egyptian Parliament.
